Securing a home loan can be time consuming, confusing and at times frustrating. An experienced Mortgage Broker uses their expertise to remove the overwhelm, save you time and money and make sure that you are placed in the right home loan for your circumstances

When I bought my first home in my early twenties I was overwhelmed. I’d saved hard for my deposit for years, but when the time came to apply for the home loan, I had no idea where to start. I wasn’t a broker yet, but I had a keen interest in property. I was nervous that the bank wouldn’t approve me for the loan.

I wish I knew then what I know now – that I didn’t have to go through the process alone. I didn’t realise that I could have used a Mortgage Broker to guide me, look after the paperwork, and help me get my loan approved.

Benefits of working with a Mortgage Broker

Brokers guide you through the entire process

Not sure what type of loan you need, how much you can borrow or what’s involved in buying a home? No worries! Mortgage Brokers guide you through the entire process, explain every step of the way and keep you informed.

A good broker will also stay in contact with you after settlement. They’ll check-in regularly to make sure your home loan still suits your changing circumstances.

Brokers empower you with choice

Mortgage Brokers have a pool of lenders at their disposal. At Violeta Finance, we have over 25 carefully curated lenders on our panel. Our lenders have different appetites for risk and specialise in different types of loans. We have the four big banks on our panel, some smaller lenders, regional banks and online lenders that offer really sharp interest rates.  Our panel also features lenders that love working with people who are self-employed. We also work with lenders that are willing to accept the risk of lending to people who don’t have a fantastic credit history but are able to service a home loan.

We have access to dozens of lenders and hundreds of loan products including some lenders and home loan deals that aren’t available to the general public. Once I’ve assessed your circumstances, I provide you with a short list of suitable home loan products from various lenders. Then you choose which lender and home loan you’d like to go with.

Brokers look after all the paperwork for you

In the early stages, your broker will ask you to supply certain documents to assess your circumstances. Then, once you’ve selected your lender, they may ask for additional documents to satisfy the lender’s assessment criteria. They’ll sort out and submit all the forms for you. All you have to do is read through them, check that they’re accurate and sign. That’s it!

Access to discounts and fee waivers

Brokers sometimes have access to special deals on rates, discounts on fees and fee waivers that the general public doesn’t.

Brokers know what lenders want

Brokers live and breathe loans. This is what we do all day every day. Brokers know EXACTLY what the lenders are looking for.

Rather than going to several banks to see if you qualify for a loan, your broker finds the right loans for you and then you choose. Applying for multiple loans directly through the banks will be listed on your credit file as an inquiry. Lenders don’t look favourably on multiple credit inquiries; it could jeopardise your chances of securing a home loan, or another type of finance.

Your Mortgage Broker will advocate for you

Your Mortgage Broker will communicate with the credit assessor at the bank on your behalf. I take the time to really get to know my clients and understand their circumstances so I can represent them to their best advantage.

I’ve personally helped hundreds of families achieve their property goals by securing a home loan for them. The common feedback I receive from clients is:

I’ve saved them money,

I’ve made the process smoother and less daunting,

I’ve made home ownership possible.

If you’d like to apply for a home loan, a mortgage refinance, car finance or business finance, you don’t have to go it alone, I’m here to help you. Send me an email if you’d like to have a chat.
